Every Summer, the Southwestern Indiana Builders Association (SIBA) puts newly built homes on display. Each home is open to the public to tour from May 31-June 8, 2025.The best part? There is no cost to tour these homes!
The Parade is your best opportunity to gather home design ideas and meet with high quality Evansville area homebuilders along the way.
Parade of Homes 2025: What to Expect
The Parade of Homes is the perfect event for those who are in the market to build or buy a new home. As SIBA explains it, the Parade is like a life-size brochure of our area’s latest and greatest in building materials, home design, and technology. There’s no better way to shop for a builder than the Parade of Homes!
All week long, each of the 38 participating homes are on display for you to tour at your leisure. There is no ticket required. Feel free to pop in by yourself, bring your significant other, or your friends!
The home builders themselves will be on site at each home. This is your opportunity to stop and chat with them, ask questions, and book a consultation with them.
Parade of Homes 2025 Dates and Times
- May 31-June 8 (closed Tuesday, June 3)
- Saturday and Sunday 1-6pm
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 5-8pm
- *Closed Tuesday for the Awards Banquet
Where to Find the Parade Homes
This year, homes are located as far East as Newburgh and as far West as Mt.Vernon. If you are seriously in the market to build a new home, we recommend checking out homes in the area you are most interested in living.
If you’re hoping to build in Newburgh, there are several great Newburgh neighborhoods with homes on display. If you’re looking for something much further West, we’re featuring our new custom home located in the peaceful Country Terrace subdivision.
The Parade of Homes map, located on the Parade website, will guide you on your way. Take a look at the map ahead of time and plan your route! The Parade of Home digital magazine is also a great resource. The magazine includes the map and house descriptions as well.
Participating Home Builders
Each of the participating home builders is a member of the Southwestern Indiana Builders Association.
These home building companies build homes and condos of all sizes across Warrick, Vanderburgh, Posey & South Gibson counties.
Each year, builders select a home to enter in the Parade. Usually, a builder will enter the home that they’re most proud of, or that they feel best reflects their style. Some homes are off the market, and the homeowner will move in after the Parade. Others are still for sale!
If you tour a home that you love, but it’s already sold, contact the builder. They’d be happy to meet with you to discuss building something similar (and adding some custom touches just for you!)

Parade of Homes Awards
Although the Parade of Homes runs May 31-June 8, all homes will be closed on Tuesday, June 3rd for the Annual Parade of Homes Awards Banquet.
This is a private event to celebrate the builders, sub-contractors, and suppliers that had a hand in building each of the homes.
All 38 homes are divided into categories based on home price. From there, they are scored by experienced judges. Awards include: Best Exterior, Best Interior, Best Kitchen, Best Bath, and Home of the Year. The Home of the Year is the home that gets the highest overall score in its category.
On Wednesday June 4th, all award winners will be posted to the Parade of Homes website. Be sure to check back!
Chefs on Parade – May 30th, 2025
Want to get exclusive access to Parade Homes the day before they open to the public? Here’s your chance!
The Chefs on Parade event is perfect for Parade of Homes fans and foodies alike. This event is on Friday, May 30th, the day before the Parade of Homes officially begins.
Each of the five participating Parade Homes are hosting a local Chef who will prepare and serve food inside the Parade Home. Ticket holders have the opportunity to taste each dish and tour the home before moving on to the next home at their leisure.
Custom Homes by Modern Structure is proud to be a part of both the Parade of Homes and the Chefs on Parade event this year! Our Parade entry is located at 1310 Mockingbird Lane in Mt. Vernon, IN and is hosting Zap’s Tavern. Stop by to taste some awesome food and tour our Parade Home before anyone else!
